As we go into our 5th Christmas together, I have been thinking more and more about how much I appreciate you, and our relationship. Ever since we met in that Tim Hortons all those years ago, I felt a connection to you that I somehow
just knew was going to be truly special, and boy, has it been.
I find it hard sometimes to put my thoughts and feelings for you into writing. There are so many things about you I could talk about that I almost draw a blank, as if I am paralyzed by choices. I am so greatful that we have each
other in this world. I am glad that I get to cuddle close with you on these cold winter nights, holding you and knowing that, in that moment, my life is nomore than the present with you, while also being the entirety of our future
together.
As you know, winter has always been my favourite season, but falling in love with you in the winter of 2021 made me love it even more. The cool air, the calm snow, the long nights, it all feels richer now because I get to experience
those things that I love with you. The cold outside is the perfect contrast to the warmth of our love that fills this season in my heart. My life, like the winter temperatures feels at balance with you in it.
Thank you for being my partner, my love, and my home. I feel so lucky to share my life with you, and I hope you always know just how much I cherish you. This winter, this Christmas, and forever, I am endlessly greatful for you.
